A little spice is what we all need in our lives and likewise, our health too needs to be spiced up by the various spices we have available around us. Turmeric: Turmeric can be applied externally as a paste to relive itches and mild skin diseases during monsoons. In cooking , besides adding a rich color to gravies, its intake helps purify blood and soothe inflamed sinusitis. Pungent fumes of a heated raw turmeric stick are considered to be an excellent cure for cold and cough .It can also be used as a depilatory to remove unwanted hair.
